Snack Innovations is devoted to manufacturing gourmet healthy snacks. They offer private label services and formulate custom seasonings and snack blends to suit their customers’ specifications. With their focus on health and wellness, it was only natural for Snack Innovations to turn to renewable energy to power their state-of-the-art food manufacturing facility in Piscataway, New Jersey.
System Specifications
The Snack Innovations solar array is made up of 1,042 solar panels and eight inverters, resulting in a total capacity of 328.23 kW DC. Estimated to produce an annual 414,007 kWh of renewable energy, the solar system sequesters as much carbon as 382 acres of US forest over the course of a year. With this system, Snack Innovations saves on their utility bill and the environment is spared 293 metric tons of carbon. A win-win!
